MIP Politecnico de Milano inks MoU with SOIL Gurgaon

New Delhi, November 7th, 2014: MIP Politecnico di Milano, in Italy, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the School of Inspired Leadership (SOIL) Gurgaon to offer a joint degree programme in Advance M

asters in Innovation & Entrepreneurship. The MoU was signed by Mr. Gianluca Spina, President, MIP Politecnico de Milano and Mr. Anil Sachdev,Founder & CEO, SOIL, in the presence of students and faculty of SOIL at their campus.

The collaboration brings together MIP Politechnico De Milano, a world renowned B-School that has been featured amongst the top 40 Global Ranking colleges and SOIL, a new paradigm that seeks to restore the balance in Indian management education through its focus on value-driven leadership. This MoU aims to develop a strong base for design learning and inculcate innovative thinking and creativity in the leaders of tomorrow. The partnership will provide students a rich global immersion.SOIL students now have the opportunity to pursue 8 weeks of study atMIP Politecnico di Milano and will be awarded the Masters Degree from Politecnico di Milano on completion of requirements .Similarly, students from MIP will come and experience the education system at SOIL.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. Claudio Dell’Era, Co-Director, Management of Design and Innovation Laborator, MIP Politecnico di Milano said “The core value behind MIP is innovation which has always been the driving focus of the university throughout its history. One of the primary factors behind our partnership with SOIL is that we share the same basic values. We are confident that the partnership will benefit both parties and create a platform for students to learn and innovate together and create new benchmarks in design thinking.”

Speaking at the press event to announce the partnership, Mr. Anil Sachdev, Founder & CEO, SOIL said, “Extraordinary challenges cannot be addressed through common ways.
