DSSSB PGT Result and Answer Key 2018 Released
DSSSB (Delhi Subordinate Service Selection Board) is a nodal agency for the selection of teaching and non-teaching posts in state-run government schools. It accepts application in various fields such as TGT, PGT, Teaching posts, Manager, Deputy Manager, Junior Engineer etc. this recruitment serves a golden opportunity for all the B.Ed/elementary education holders.
DSSSB PGT (Post-Graduate Teacher) the term used for teachers who are post-graduates in their subjects and handle higher secondary classes from 6th to 12th. The state level recruitment of the PGT exam is conducted annually.
DSSSB PGT exam pattern is as follows:
The exam will be conducted in offline mode. It mainly comprises of 2 stages. Tier 1 and Tier 2.

The duration of the DSSSB PGT exam is 2 hours. Every correct answer will be awarded +1 mark and 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answers.
Minimum qualifying marks for Tier 1 exam: general- 40%, OBC- 35%, SC/ST/PH – 30%, Ex-servicemen will be given 5% relaxation in their respective categories subject to a minimum of 30%.
The candidates must have to qualify in section A and B separately as per their category. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of aggregate marks of both the sections.

Result:
The result will be announced on the official website in the form of score cards. The score card will obtain the scores obtained in the different sections and also the total score. The results for DSSSB PGT can be checked following the steps:
- Visit the official website delhi.gov.in
- Click on the link provided for DSSSB teacher recruitment result.
- Enter the application number/roll number, date of birth and password to view the result
- The score card of DSSSB PGT will appear on the screen.
- Save and take a soft copy and two print outs of it.
Along with the DSSSB results the shortlisted candidates will separately informed through SMS and Email.
After the declaration of the final result, the board will prepare the merit list for qualifiers of the written test and skill test.
The board reserves every right to alter the cut off marks any time, that will totally depend on the vacancy and marks obtained by the candidate in the exam.
Answer keys:
The organising body will also publish the provisional answer key which can be challenged through the user’s login account. The candidates can estimate their rough score via this key.
Steps to check the answer key of DSSSB:
- Click on the answer key download link.
- Login with the application number and date of birth of DSSSB PGT.
- Download answer key
- Match it with the booklet.
After declaring the results, the board will publish a merit list based on the performance of the candidates. It will specify the merit position as per their mark and category of each candidate.
DSSSB recruitment counselling:
The counselling process will start soon after the results are announced. The participants shortlisted through merit list will have to register themselves for the counselling process.
The candidates have to submit their documents and certificates for verification. While appearing for document verification they are required to submit the self-attested copies of the documents along with the admit card and hard copy of the print out of the online application. The candidates will be recruited in order of merit and preferences of posts exercised by them.
After final selection the candidates will get confirmation then DSSSB will pay them as per specified by government rules.
