Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited Recruitment 2019: Inviting Applications for 445 Apprentice Posts

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) is inviting applications to recruit Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in Group A, Group B and Group C. The online application process for the vacant Apprentice posts commenced on 17th July 2019 and the last date to apply is Today i.e 31st July 2019. The online examination to be conducted for the MDL Apprentice Jobs selection will most likely be held on August 2nd, 2019.

Coming to the vacancy details, Group A has vacancies for 200 posts, Group B requires personnel for 125 posts and Group C needs candidates to occupy 120 vacant posts.

Eligibility criteria for the said vacancies :

Educational competence required for vacancies in the different Groups:

  • Group A: Applicants must be successful in qualifying the SSC in the first attempt with General Science and Mathematics. Minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC / SEBC/EWS / AFC / DIVYANG candidates ii) Pass Class for SC/ST in First Attempt Only.
  • Group B: Candidates who qualified ITI from a Government recognized university in their first attempt. Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General / OBC / SEBC/EWS / AFC / DIVYANG aspirants is necessary to be eilgibile ii) SC/ST candidates who managed to acquire Pass Class in the First Attempt are also eligible.
  • Group C: Candidates who passed 8th standard under (10+2) system in the first attempt with Science and Mathematics. General / OBC / SEBC/EWS / AFC / DIVYANG category candidates must score minimum 50% marks in aggregate. SC/ST candidates with Pass Class in the First Attempt are also eligible.

The selection process for the Apprentice posts will be carried out in three stages. The first stage will be the online examination, qualifying which the candidates will be summoned for the medical examination and then document Verification. The schedule and location of the progressing stages will be declared along with the results of the online examinations.
