APSET 2019 Notification for Registration Process Released
The Andhra University has released the official notification for Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) 2019 on 28th July 2019. The registration process of the APSET 2019 started on the official website of APSET at https://apset.net.in/ on 5th August 2019. The eligible candidates can apply for the exam through the official website till 11th September 2019.
The University has released the examination date along with the notification. The examination will be conducted on 20th October 2019 across various centres in the state. A total of 30 subjects are there in the list of examination.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates who have secured at least 55 per cent in their Master’s Degree or an equivalent examination from institutions recognized by the UGC are eligible for this test. Those candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree or the candidates who have appeared for their Master’s degree in the final year examination and whose result is still awaited may also apply for this test. However, these candidates will be admitted provisionally and should be considered eligible for the award of eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor only after they have passed their Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
Application fees
The candidates fulfilling all the eligibility criteria and want to apply for the examination can apply through online mode. For general candidates, the registration fee is Rs.1,200, for OBC category it is Rs.1,000, and for SC/ST/PwD category it is Rs. 700. The application fee is to be paid either through debit card, credit card or via net banking.
Exam Pattern
The APSET consists of two papers in total. The first paper will have 50 questions out of 100 marks. The duration of the Paper-1 exam is one hour. The second paper will have 100 questions out of 200 marks, and the duration is two hours. The candidates will have to mark the answers for both the question papers on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) sheet, which is provided along with the test booklet.
