Electronic Corporation of India Limited, or ECIL, is a government enterprise headquartered in Hyderabad. It was established by the Government of India as a part of the Department of Atomic Energy. ECIL plays an important role in creating an indigenous base for electronics in India.
It functions in various sectors such as Nuclear energy, Space and Defence in an attempt to fulfil its goal. It also employs a large number of people for efficient functioning.
According to a recent job notification issued by the Electronics Corporation of India Limited, it will be conducting a recruitment drive for several vacancies. Interested candidates must go through the notification and apply for the posts if they are eligible.
The vacancies in ECIL are for the posts of Technical Officer and Junior Assistant. There are a total of 11 vacancies for both the posts combined. Candidates can make a note of the vacancy details-
- Technical Officer I – 1 vacancy
- Technical Officer II – 2 vacancies
- Technical Officer III – 1 vacancy
- Technical Officer IV – 1 vacancy
- Junior Artisan I – 4 vacancies
- Junior Artisan II – 1 vacancy
The recruitment process for these posts will involve a walk-in-interview. However, candidates should only appear for the interview if they are eligible for the post they want to interview for. The eligibility criteria for the different posts are as follows –
- Technical Officer I –
- E./B.Tech. In Computer Science or confirmation Technology with at least 60% marks from a recognised university
- 1-year experience in the field of Web technology, PHP, HTML, CSS, etc.
- Technical Officer II –
- Engineering Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication with 60% marks from a recognised university.
- 1-year experience in the field of Computer Hardware, Linux, Windows OS, etc.
- Basic knowledge of Electrical Systems.
- Technical Officer III –
- Engineering Degree in Electronics and Telecommunication with 60% marks from a recognised university.
- 1-year experience in wireless communication, telecommunication systems, mobile base sets, walkie talkies etc.
- Technical Officer IV –
- Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering with 60% marks from a recognised university.
- 1-year experience in Radio frequency, basic concepts in networking, etc.
- Junior Artisan I/II –
- Candidates should have passed ITI with Electronics, Computers, Instrumentation or Radio & TV.
- One year of experience in the field of Testing and Maintenance.
It must also be noted that there are upper age limits for these posts. These are as follows –
- A Technical Officer should not be more than 30 years.
- A Junior Artisan should not be more than 25 years.
The interview for these posts will be held on 23rd November 2019 between 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates should make sure that they reach the venue on time. The address where they need to report is –
