IBPS 2016 MT/PO CWE VI Exam Analysis
PaGaLGuY review – Overall exam was easy with slight difficulty in Quant section
The 2016 Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) exam conducted the MT/PO CWE VI CWE VI (Management Trainee/ Probationary Officer Common Written Examination) today, October 16, 2016. There are about 8500 vacancies divided between 20 banks. The preliminary examination has three sections- Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English.
In today’s exam 22 out of 35 questions in the Reasoning Section, were based on Sitting Arrangements, one question on Direction and three questions based on Length of Wire. The Quant section had nine questions out of 35 based on graphs and only one based on area. English Section which comprised 30 questions was dominated by Grammar.
Aspirants who took the exam found the paper to be easy. Anup Gupta, a student from Mumbai says,” I found reasoning to be easy of all the three sections. Overall, I have attempted to solve about 40 questions.”
Quant being one of the most challenging areas in the exam, had students stumble with 9 questions based on graphs. Avishkar Sawant, who attempted the exam for the first time says, “Quant requires a lot of calculations, which I found difficult. Being the first attempt I didn’t expect this amount of difficulty. Other sections, I have managed.”
Overall, students found the exam to be easy with most of them facing difficulty in the Quant Section.
