Kota institute offers free education for wards of Uri militant attack martyrs

In a tribute to the martyrs of the Uri militant attack in Jammu and Kashmir, Kota-based coaching institute and educational group, Career Point, announced ‘KG to PG’ free education for the wards of the martyrs of Uri militant attack and as well as the wards of other martyrs of defence forces. The announcement was made at a special tribute ceremony organised by Career Point at its auditorium on Thursday, September 22, where a special audio-visual paying homage to the country’s brave soldiers was shown to coaching aspirants and the students maintained two minutes silence in the memory of martyrs.

Shailendra Maheshwari, Director of Career Point said, “Martyrs have given their lives for the security of the country without thinking about their own lives so this initiative is a little effort on the part of our group to offer free education to the wards of these martyrs, from kindergarten to post-graduation level studies.”

Career Point has pledged to offer free education to the martyrs’ wards at the 27 educational institutions that are part of Career Point, including coaching institutes, public schools and Universities which are spread across different cities of the country including Kota. Career Point group has two universities in the country including Kota and Hamirpur (Himachal Pradesh), and six schools including two in Kota and one each in Jodhpur, Mohali, Bilaspur and Rajsamand. Career Point has coaching institute branches in Jaipur, Alwar, Akola, Bhagalpur, Guwahati, Jamnagar, Jammu, Jodhpur, Lucknow, Kapoorthala, Shrinagar and Shriganganagar.

Maheshwari added that Career Point has already been offering concession in fees to the wards of defence personnel who have taken admission in their educational institutions in the past.

Pramod Maheshwari, Chairman and Managing Director, Career Point, said that while their group would write to the families of the martyrs about Career Point’s free education plan for their wards, they would also write to the Union Defense Ministry about it.
