Career Point’s ‘CP STAR’ returns with bigger prizes for under-privileged students

Kota’s Career Point Institute recently announced its annual test, CP STAR (Career Point Scholarship Test for Admission and Reward) for meritorious and needy students of class 10th and 12th. Career Point’s Director Om Maheshwari said, “Since 2009, we are conducting this examination for meritorious and deprived students to help them fulfil their dreams. This year, apart from cash prize, free coaching and free hostel facility, a Hyundai Eon car shall also be awarded by Kota Hyundai as a bumper prize in each category, that is, class X and XII.”
This year, more than 15,000 students of class 10th and 12th are expected to participate. Winners will get cash prizes of up to Rs 1 lakh and 100% scholarship. In addition to that, the top 30 students shall be entitled for free coaching and hostel facility. The class topper of each school shall be entitled for a 4-day ‘Champion’s Camp’ which will include various workshops and seminars for future competitive exams and study skills. Moreover, all students will be awarded with a ‘Science Proficiency Certificate’ by Career Point University.
Shailendra Maheshwari, Director (Academics), Career Point added, “The pattern of the exam shall be multiple choice single correct, with two sections – scholastic aptitude and mental ability. Class 10th scholastic section will include Science, Math and General Knowledge and whereas class 12th will have Physics, Chemistry, Math or Biology. The second section will contain questions of mental ability as per the respective class. Students of class 12th from Arts and Commerce stream are also eligible to take part in which questions related to Logical reasoning, General Knowledge and English shall be asked. The test paper will be of 240 marks with 60 questions each of 4 marks.”
Career Point has also announced a selfie contest on Facebook, in which one can take his / her selfie along with a cut-out of the car and post the same on Facebook. Those who get more than 100 likes and 20 shares shall be entitled for special prizes such as badminton rackets, basketballs, cricket bats, etc.
The test dates are 10th Sept, 24th Sept, 1st Oct, 22nd Oct & 12th Nov in different parts of the nation. For registration, students may visit Career Point’s website or contact at any of the branch offices.
