NEET 2016: OMR sheets released

The National Entrance Eligibility Test (NEET) OMR sheets were released today. Candidates can visit the official portal to challenge the responses. To log in, candidates will need their Registration Number and Password.

According to published reports, about 49,000 to 50,000 students took NEET earlier this year. NEET is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for admissions to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses in medical and dental colleges run with the approval of Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare across India. CBSE will also release the official NEET answer key by August 9, 2016.

If any student wants to challenge the OMR sheet or answer key in case of any ambiguity, they can do so by paying a fee of Rs 1,000 per response challenged. If the challenge is accepted by the Board, Rs 1,000 will be refunded to the candidate.
