Public universities include JNTUH (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad). Admissions are being taken at JNTUH for the academic year 2022–2023. Applications are being accepted for the UG and PG programs at the university. Applications for undergraduate courses can be submitted by interested parties until July 4. Applications for PG Admissions 2022–23 are due by August 30. Through the TS-EAMCET 2022 exam, admission to the BTech programmes will be made available. The test will be given between July 14 and July 20. Till May 28, eligible candidates may submit their applications.

With eight engineering colleges that are connected with it and jurisdiction over all of Telangana, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Institution Hyderabad (JNTUH) is a prominent university. JNTUH has been placed 62nd in the Engineering category of the NIRF Rankings 2021.
