The EAMCET is conducted for entry to various professional degree
courses in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Various universities of Andhra Pradesh
give admission to students in courses related to medical, engineering and
agriculture on the basis of their performance in this exam. The Andhra Pradesh
State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) organizes the EAMCET in affiliation
with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU). This year, the exam is
scheduled on the 8th of May.
Engineering aspirants taking the EAMCET need to answer a total
of 160 questions on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The test involves no
negative marking. The question paper is available in English and Urdu. However,
only candidates from the Hyderabad centre can avail the question paper in Urdu.

This college offers undergraduate programs in Civil engineering,
Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication engineering,
Electrical & Electronics engineering and Mechanical engineering.
The Electronics & Communication engineering and the Mechanical
engineering departments have an approved intake of 180 students while rest of the
departments of engineering admit 120 students every year.
