IBPS Clerk 2017: Application begins on September 12 for 7883 clerical posts

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has issued the notification for 7883 IBPS Clerical posts in participatory nationalised banks, across the country. Eligible and interested candidates will be able to apply for the posts online, though the official website of IBPS, from September 12, 2017. The IBPS Clerk Prelims exam would take place on December 2, 3, 9 and 10, 2017 at test centres across the country. The qualified candidates will have to take up the IBPS Mains written examination on January 21, 2018. There will be no personal interview round for selection of candidates for IBPS Clerk posts. 

Eligibility for IBPS Clerk 2017: 

  • Candidates must be a citizen of India or subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who came up with an intention to settle in India. 
  • Candidates must be between 20 to 28 years of age. 
  • Candidates must have a graduation degree from any recognised university/institute in order to apply. 

Examination pattern for IBPS Clerk 2017: 

Candidates will have to undergo prelims and mains written examination to finally get selected for the IBPS Clerk posts. Provisional allotment of the candidates will be made based on their marks attained in the Mains written test.

How to Apply for IBPS Clerk 2017: 

  • Candidates need to apply online through the official website of IBPS from September 12, 2017. 
  • Candidates need to fill up the online application form and upload thier scanned photograph and signature to complete application. 
  • An application fees of Rs. 600 needs to be paid online by the candidates. 
  • Candidates need to take print out of the filled application form for future references.
