All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi held the entrance test for Master of Surgery and Doctorate of Medicine (MCh/DM) on November 5 followed by the declaration of results on November 10. The next stage of the process, the departmental assessment is scheduled for November 22 and 23.
The results were declared on the AIIMS official website. Selected candidates must appear for the departmental assessment for completing the second stage of the selection process. In case a candidate fails to appear for both the entrance test and the departmental assessment, he or she will be disqualified. There are 60 seats for DM, 29 seats are allocated for MCh. 267 candidates have been selected for the departmental assessment.
While the entrance exam carried 80 marks, the assessment carries 20. All candidates need to submit in person or send via post, their self-attested copies of
birth certificate,
education marksheets and
experience letters.
The documents need to reach
the Assistant Controller of Examinations,
Examination Section, 1st Floor,
Convergence Block,
AIIMS, New Delhi-110608.
Candidates who fail to submit or send across these documents in time, will be disqualified as well.
