The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi will be tentatively conducting the entrance examination for the Doctorate of Medicine and Master of Surgery (DM and MCh) on April 8, 2017. This entrance test will be for the July 2017 academic session.
The tentative schedule for the admission process has been listed. The results are expected to be out by April 13. This will be followed by the Departmental Assessment carried out over three days, April 24, 25 and 26. The final result with the selected candidates will be out on April 28.
The timings and the examination locations are yet to be announced by the authorities. The registration forms for candidates haven’t been issued as yet either.
Candidates must appear for both, the entrance examinations and the Departmental Assessment in order to be considered for the seat. In case of absence for either of the sessions due to any reason, the candidate will be immediately disqualified.
Not only has AIIMS announced the dates for the entrance examination for the July 2017 academic session, but the dates for the entrance test for the January 2018 session are out as well. The DM/MCh exams will be conducted on November 5, 2017.
