So, it’s time to kick off the biggest annual survey exercise on PaGaLGuY — the PaGaLGuY B-school Rankings 2012. The survey taps the power of the PaGaLGuY community of MBA applicants, students, alumni and academicians to find out what India thinks about India’s b-schools.
Like every year, it shall be a rankings of India’s Most Preferred B-schools arrived at using the CommunityRank Methodology. There shall be two stages to the survey,
Stage 1: Shortlisting of 100 business schools that shall be included in the rankings.
Stage 2: The actual ranking of the shortlisted 100 b-schools.
This post is about Stage 1: Pre-rankings survey.
Stage 1 is closed, Stage 2 is live now! Answer the Stage 2 Survey
The survey will provide you with a list of 120 best-known b-schools in the country and ask you to ELIMINATE 20 b-schools that you are not so keen to see in the PaGaLGuY B-school Rankings 2012. After the survey ends, we will drop the 20 most-voted-out schools out of the rankings and take the remaining 100 to Stage 2 of the survey. More about Stage 2 in the methodology description.
Please note, that this survey will not help us arrive at the rankings. This survey will only shortlist those b-schools which will be ranked in Stage 2.
We are planning to move to Stage 2 of the survey around January 20 and release the results by end February, just in time before b-schools declare their final results.
