BARC has invited applications from SC and OBC category candidates for selection of CAT II- Stipendiary Trainee. The details of the posts are as follows:

Education and Experience criteria:
For Post Nos. 1, 2 and 3 – Should have passed HSC (10+2) with not less than 60% marks in aggregate and should have studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths as main subjects.
For Post Nos. 4, 5 and 6 – Should have passed either HSC (10+2) with not less than 60 % marks in aggregate with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as main subjects or SSC with not less than 60 % marks in aggregate.
In addition to the above, candidates should possess ITI/NCVT qualification in respective trade (Fitter / Electrical / Electronics) which should be either of the following:
1) ITI/NCVT in the relevant trade of 2 years duration
or
2) ITI in the relevant trade of one year duration plus one year relevant experience after completion of the course.
Age limit:
Candidates belonging to the SC category must be between 18 to 27 years old and candidates belonging to the OBC (Non-creamy Layer) category must be between 18 to 25 years old.
Remuneration: (upon completion of 2 years training)
Technician/ C – Rs 21,500
Technician/ B – Rs 18,350
Selection Process:
Selection will be on the basis of performance in the Written Examination and personal interview. The written examination is of screening nature. It will be of one hour duration and will comprise objective type (multiple choice) questions. For details about the Exam syllabus, refer to the recruitment notification.
