The Central Board of Secondary Education, i.e. CBSE, conducts the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, i.e. CTET periodically in which individuals aspiring to start a career in teaching must participate. As per the latest notification released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) will be conducted on 8th December 2019 which is a Sunday. CBSE CTET December 2019: Examination Pattern
Candidates appearing or the CBSE CTET December 2019 Exam must note the following important points regarding the pattern of the examination: –
- Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the Central Teacher Eligibility Test in an offline mode, i.e. it will be a written examination without any computers to be used.
- CBSE CTET December 2019 Exam will comprise of a total of 150 marks wherein there will be 150 questions carrying 1 mark each.
- The total time duration of the CBSE CTET December 2019 Exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- The question paper for CBSE CTET December 2019 Exam will be divided into five different sections comprising of 30 questions each.
- There is no provision of negative marking in the CBSE CTET December 2019 Exam.
- CBSE CTET December 2019 Exam comprises of two different paper, i.e. paper – I and paper – II.
- CBSE CTET December 2019 Exam Paper – I include Language -1, Mathematics, Language -2, Environment Studies, and Child Development and Pedagogy.
- CBSE CTET December 2019 Exam Paper – II includes Social Studies, Mathematics or Science, Language -1, Language -2, and Child Development and Pedagogy.

Candidates appearing for the CBSE CTET December 2019 Exam should follow the below-mentioned tips to help with the preparation: –
- Practise is the key to success. Candidates must attempt the mock tests regularly in a controlled environment. This will help develop an understanding of the exam pattern as well as manage the time effectively. Candidates can opt for subject-wise mock tests for a better chance to score good marks.
- Candidates must refer to the NCERT books for class 3rd to class 8th CTET syllabus is specified by CBSE, and it must be followed by the candidates to select the right books.
- While learning the information, candidates must prepare short notes as well. These short notes should include a summary of the chapter learned. Short notes must also be prepared for the subjects where the candidate is weak in certain areas. This can act as a quick reference guide when the examination date of 8th December 2019 draws near.
