Many reputed
institutes in Kerala that offer different professional degrees accept KEAM exam
scores for their admissions. This exam is conducted across all major venues in
the state of Kerala and in cities like Mumbai, New Delhi and Dubai, among
others.
In the KEAM exam,
engineering aspirants need to appear for two papers – Paper 1, which comprises
Physics & Chemistry, and Paper 2, which consists of Mathematics. The Paper
1 for the KEAM exam 2015 was conducted today (20th April) and the
Paper 2 of the KEAM exam is to be held tomorrow (21st April).

The
College of Engineering was started in 1939 and is a Government college. It is
affiliated to the University of Kerala and is approved by the AICTE.
The
college offers undergraduate programs in Applied Electronics, Architecture,
Civil engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical &
Electronics engineering, Electronics & Communication engineering,
Industrial engineering and Mechanical engineering.
The
Institute admits 60 students every year for Applied Electronics, Computer
Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication engineering. The
Civil engineering department admits 122 students every year while the
Industrial engineering branch admits 30 students every year. The approved
intake for the Electrical & Electronics engineering and the Mechanical
engineering departments is 100 and 121 respectively.
