The Department of Posts, Government of India, under the Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Haryana circle, has invited applications from meritorious sports persons for the following posts:
Post: Postal Assistant/ Sorting Officer
No. of vacancies: 21
Eligibility criteria:
XIIth standard pass from recognised university/ board with English as a compulsory subject.
Should have studied Hindi at least till matriculation level or equivalent.
Age limit: (as on 20.03.2015)
(a) Candidate should be between 18 and 27 years of age.
(b) The upper age limit is relaxable for General, OBC, SC/ST category candidates by 5 years, 8 years and 10 years respectively.
Remuneration: Pay Scale of Rs 5,200 – 20,200 with Grade Pay of Rs 2,400.
How to apply:
(a) The application should be filled in English/ Hindi only. A passport size photograph and self-attested copies of all the required documents and certificates should be sent along with the application.
(b) Application must be sent through speed post/ registered post only.
