The Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships has announced a job notification to fill a total of four permanent posts of Navigational Assistant and Technician. The candidates that are interested and meet the required eligibility criteria can apply for the recruitment drive. The application form will be released online for the candidates to download and submit offline. The applications for the recruitment drive will commence from October 7, 2019.
The applications for recruitment should be submitted in the prescribed format before November 18, 2019. The applications received thereafter will not be considered to be valid. The application process for recruitment is offline. However, the candidates will have to download the application form by visiting the official website of the Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships (DGLL).
The number of vacancies for the post of Navigational Assistant Grade III is three, and there is one vacancy for the post of Technician (Electronics). The candidates applying for the recruitment should appear for a written test as a part of the selection process. The written test comprises of multiple-choice questions.

- The candidate should be at least 18 years of age while applying for recruitment.

Educational Qualification
- The candidate should have completed a Diploma in Electronics Engineering/ Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering with at least one year of work experience in the installation and maintenance of wireless transmitters, receivers, etc.
