The Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur of the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has recently announced a job notification for recruitment to the posts of Technician (Diploma) Apprentice and Graduate Apprentice.
The recruitment drive is expected to fill a total of 116 vacancies. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment online from November 1, 2019. The last date for the online applications of the recruitment is on November 20, 2019.

The selection process of the recruitment comprises a written test followed by a personal interview round. Candidates who get through the rounds of the selection process will be selected for the above-mentioned posts. Of the total vacancies, 60 are for the Graduate Apprentice posts and 56 for the Technician (Diploma) Apprentice posts across various branches of engineering.
Candidates that have qualified B.E/ B.Tech earlier than 2017 are not considered eligible for the apprenticeship. The Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur has clearly mentioned that only the candidates that have registered their names in on the official website of the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) will be eligible for the apprenticeship program.
Therefore, all interested candidates should first register themselves by visiting the official website of National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS): mhrdnats.gov.in. Candidates should note that the Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur will not send any physical copies of the application form, admit card or the results of the apprentice recruitment to the candidates via mail. Every document related to the recruitment should be viewed/ downloaded online by the candidate.
DRDO ITR Chandipur Apprentice Recruitment 2019: Eligibility Criteria and Stipend
The candidates interested in the apprenticeship program should meet the requirements set by the Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur. The eligibility criteria and the stipend offered for the apprenticeship program are mentioned below.
- Graduate Apprentice: The candidate should have completed B.E/ B. Tech. in the concerned branch of engineering from a recognized Institution.
- The stipend offered for the candidates is Rs 9000 per month.
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentice: The candidate should have completed Diploma in the concerned branch of Engineering from a recognized Institution.
- The stipend offered for the candidates is Rs. 8,000 per month.

Candidates interested in the apprenticeship recruitment should submit the online application for the recruitment that will be activated from November 1, 2019. The last date to register online for the recruitment is November 20, 2019. The candidates should visit the official website of RAC from November 1, 2019, to apply online.
