FORE School of Management, New Delhi alumna Ms. NEETI MACKER (Founder-Director, Own Interiors) was a speaker at The Big 5 – International Building & Construction Show (26 – 29 November 2018) held in Dubai World Trade Centre.
The winner of ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ and ‘Business of the Year’ awards in 2017 had the audience in rapt attention with her presentation on virtual showrooms and augmented reality catalogues. She feels they will become the norm in the future: ‘Both virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) can be put to varied uses, resulting in numerous advantages. Most pertinent among them are the customization of an individual’s experience, simulation of real-world scenarios, and a reduction in the number of physical samples and costs. Using VR and AR, one can simply visualize something before it is built.’
Ms. Neeti Macker has also received the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award from FORE Alumni Network in 2017 at Jubilate, the annual alumni meet.
