The Chennai based ICMR – NIRT, has welcomed applications for Project Assistant and Project Technician III posts. The qualified candidates can appear for the Walk-In written test programmed on 30 October 2019. Also, the candidate can go through the official notification under employment notice no: NIRT/PROJ/RECTT/2019-20 Dt: 19.10.2019.

Age Criteria:
- Project Assistant (Field Investigator)- The candidate should not be exceeding 30 years of age.
- Project Technician III (Laboratory Technician)- The candidate should not be not exceeding 30 years of age.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Project Assistant (Field Investigator) –
The candidates must have done Graduation in science from a recognized university along with 3 years of work experience in a recognized institution. Or should be a Master’s degree in Life Sciences.
- Project Technician III (Laboratory Technician) –
The candidates must have done12thPass in science subjects and two years diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or one-year DMLT plus one-year required experience in a recognized organization or two years of laboratory experience in Govt. recognized organization.
Pay scale:
- Project Assistant (Field Investigator)- The Consolidated salary for Project Assistant (Field Investigator) is Rs.31,000/. Per month.
- Project Technician III (Laboratory Technician)- The Consolidated salary for Project Technician III (Laboratory Technician) shall be Rs.18,000/-p.m.
Selection Procedure:
The selection of candidates will be made based on their performance in the Walk-in-interview being organized by the selection body, respectively. Candidate should avoid any other rumours spread adopting any other criteria for selection.
