With effects of the economic slowdown popping up all over the globe, students across institutions have been feeling the heat of the job crisis. The Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR), Chennai, has been showing a very positive scenario with close to 85% of our students placed by the end of December 2013. Apart from the regular recruiters who visit us every year, our students have also been placed in international brands, some of which include Bank of America, Barclays, HSBC, J P Morgan and Shell. We have received great feedback about our students from many of them who have also shown interest in being a regular recruiter with us.
We also have a few more companies visiting us over the week and our Placement Committee is looking towards winding up the placement season for our college by the end of January.
Our students have diligently been working towards helping IFMR maintain the track record of 100% placements ever since its inception.
