Indian Bank PO PGDBF Recruitment 2018 Result

Indian Bank is one of the top banks in India. Indian Bank conducted PO exam for the recruitment of the candidates for its PGDBF (Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance Course). Indian Bank Manipal School of Banking will conduct the course for this job and once the candidates successfully completed it, then they will be recruited as PO (Probationary Officers) in various branches across India.

The Indian bank Mains exam for PO was conducted on November 04, 2018. The results were announced on December 14, 2018. It was announced on the Indian Bank’s Official website. Following are the stages that the candidates need to go through to become a PO in Indian Bank:

  1. Indian Bank PO Preliminary Examination
  2. Indian Bank PO main examination
  3. Personal Interview

Stage 1 and 2 will be an online test. Here the candidates must clear both the sectional and aggregate cutoffs in order to get selected for the next round. The cutoffs for each section and the aggregate will be fixed by the responsible authority. The cutoffs will depend on the Number of candidates appeared for the exam, The difficulty level of the exam, the number of vacancies available the particular year etc.

The marks secured by the candidates in the main exam will not be enclosed until the interview process is done by the board. So, in the result page, only whether the candidates are selected for the Personal Interview round or not will be mentioned. And so the candidates must wait patiently for the Interview to get over for the main exam to get displayed by the board. The final selection for Indian Bank PO will be done on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in both Main exam and Personal Interview with a weight-age of 80 and 20 percent respectively.

The candidates who cleared in the main exam will be called for the interview process which will be decider phase of this exam. It will be concluded by clubbing both the main exam and interview marks according to the weight-age of marks mentioned above.
