The JEE 2015 Seat Allocation process for the IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) is finally over and most of the IITs have begun their academic year. So, let us now take a look at the cutoffs/closing ranks in 2015 for the different IITs. This series of articles will help you understand the cutoffs/closing ranks for selection to each of the various branches in the different IITs in 2015. Do note that only candidates who secured a rank among the top one and a half lakh aspirants who appeared for the JEE Main 2015 were eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced examination 2015. Candidates were finally selected to the IITs/ISM Dhanbad purely on the basis of their performance in the JEE Advanced 2015. This was also the first time that the IITs and ISM Dhanbad were a part of the Joint Seat Allocation Process that involved other reputed institutions like the NITs, IIITs, Other GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes).

In this article, let us take a look at the cutoffs/closing ranks for the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar (IITBBS).

IIT Bhubaneswar was founded in 2008 and its foundation stone was laid on 12 February 2009, at Arugul, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The IITBBS campus is spread over 24 acres. The campus houses classrooms, labs, a library, and faculty offices. The campus is designed to be fully residential. There are separate residences for boys and girls. There are also recreational facilities, sporting facilities and a shopping arena for meeting the basic needs of the students.

At the undergraduate level (B. E. / B. Tech.), this institute offers 180 seats in 5 different branches. Selections to these seats was done on the basis of a student’s All India Rank in the JEE Advanced 2015.
