ITBP Recruitment 2019: Apply Online For Assistant Surgeon Post
ITBP was raised on 24 October 1962. Presently, ITBP is deployed on border guarding duties from Karakoram Pass in Ladakh to Jachep La in Arunachal Pradesh covering 3480 km of Indo-China Border and manning Border Outposts on altitudes ranging from 9000 – 18700 in the Western, Middle and Eastern sectors of the Indo-China Border.
ITBP is a specialised mountain force, and most of the officers and men are professionally trained mountaineers and skiers. Being the first responder for a natural disaster, ITBPF has been carrying out numerous rescue and relief operations across the country.
Indo-Tibetan Border Police has issued notifications for recruiting eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Surgeon (Assistant Commandant/Veterinary). The vacancies will be of Central Government Group-A, Gazetted Combatised Post (Non-Ministerial) on a temporary basis. The posts are likely to be made permanent. Essential Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a recognised University.
- Registration with the Veterinary Council of India.

Upper age limit: 35 years as on 06.03.2019
Candidates should not have been born earlier than 07/03/1984.
