It all started when schools came together and decided to have a common entrance test. With the increase in of participants, the Institutes are forced to change the methodology of admitting students. Now that they have come up with strategies like they also involve academic scores, like 10th, 12th and graduation, students will need to start preparing very early from school if they wish to pursue a management career.
People like me who wasn’t that good in school, academics will soon disappear from the race, as these institutes start giving weightage to academics so much. Now we will have to prepare our children from the very start ruining their childhood and forcing them to perform well at any cost, resulting in more pressure.
With increase in of students who score more than 90 – 95%, what about state boards where maximum percentage one can score is not more than 85 or so. Like Bihar board which is considered to be one of the toughest boards, where highest percentage never crossed 95%.
In comparison to those (other boards like CBSE ICSC) where students score even 99%. Is this a fair competition ?? Not all we can blame for the education system, something we should keep for population as well. More the population more the competition, again more the pressure to perform well. Now that they have started considering academic score of 10th, 12th etc., I believe there will be a time when institutes will consider class 1 to class 12 scores, also kinder garden , for that matter ?
Although nothing much can be done against it and people will eventually get familiar with the process and get them accustomed to the cut throat competition, Students will be suggested to ignore sentiments and get scores, whatever the situation be, People will be more practical at an early age, School days will not be missed that much. Only then I hope everybody will get good marks. about numbers after all.
