Jawaharlal Institute of Medical Education and Research, Puducherry announced the results for the entrance examination for Master of Surgery and Doctor of Medicine (MS/MD) on December 18, 2016. The registration for all students commences at 7.30 am and closes at 11 am. The counselling session will start precisely at 2 pm at the main auditorium near Gate number 7, at Temple Street at the main JIPMER Campus.
Students who accept admission after the first counselling session are needed to hand over their original certificates and mark sheets along with making the fee payment on that very day. Post-December 21, the candidate must be present for a medical examination at the JIPMER campus on December 30 at 9 am.
In case any candidate who gives up a seat on the day of counselling or later, he or she will not be provided with a refund of the tuition fee, LRF or bonafide certificate deposit. He or she will also have to pay a penalty.
After the medical examination is completed, the candidate needs to be present for the Academic Section at the JIPMER Academic Centre at 11.30 am. Each Candidate must carry the following documents in order to complete the entire admission procedure.
For sponsored and international students, the counselling session will be conducted from 9 am on December 27, 2016
- Agreement for Junior Residents: The form needs to be downloaded from the JIPMER official website and printed on a Rs 10 valued stamp paper. The form needs to be filled by the students.
- Undertaking: The candidate needs to download the undertaking on green bond paper, fill it by hand and sign it.
- Bio-data: The format of the bio-data needs to be downloaded by the postgraduate student and filled by hand.
- Bio-data 1: This bio-data is for the service book and this too needs to be downloaded and filled by hand by the candidate.
