The Jawaharlal Institute of Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry recently released the examination schedule for the July 2017 academic session for MBBS students. The online registration will be open from March 27 to May 3, 2017.
The entrance examination is scheduled for June 4. There are a total of 150 seats for MBBS. The course is for a duration of five years and six months including a yearlong internship.
The entrance examination is followed by the announcement of the results in a few weeks. After the results are announced, the counselling sessions will be conducted over the following weeks.
June 27. 2017: First Counselling Session
July 19, 2017: Second Counselling Session
August 23, 2017: Third Counselling Session
Admissions will be closed by the end of September. The date for the commencement of the course will be announced once the entrance examinations end. All rights to modify the dates of examination or counselling sessions are reserved by JIPMER.
