The Joint Seat Allocation Authority or JoSAA has declared that six rounds of the seat allocation process will be conducted. The last round (sixth) will end on July 20, 2016, at 5 pm.
The detailed schedule of events is as follows:
10 July 2016 (Round 3)
10 AM – Display of seats filled / availability status
5 PM – Seat allocation announcement
Third round seat acceptance / withdrawal from July 11 (10 am) to July 13 (5 pm).
14 July 2016 (Round 4)
10 AM – Display of seats filled / availability status
5 PM -Seat allocation announcement
Fourth round seat acceptance / withdrawal from July 15 (10 am) to July 16 (5 pm).
17 July 2016 (Round 5)
10 AM – Display of seats filled / availability status
1 PM – Seat allocation announcement
Fifth round seat acceptance / withdrawal on July 18 (10 am to 5 pm).
19 July 2016 (Round 6)
10 AM – Display of seats filled / availability status
1 PM – Seat allocation announcement
Sixth round seat acceptance on July 20 (10 am to 5 pm).
