The minister also added that the students who have now already applied for caste certificate could also have helped through this announcement. Last year the reservation in education and government jobs section was made to increase by 16 presents by the chief minister of Maharashtra and identifying the Martha community under SEBC.

The minister even said that the SEBC is not the part of Maratha scheduled caste(SC), Scheduled Tribes(ST), Notified Tribes(DNT), Nomadic Tribes(NT), Other backward castes (OBC), Special regressive Category Caste certificate act 2000 and as the admission procedure has begun, The government has stated that the students of SEBC it is not mandatory to submit their caste certificate while registration.
