MicromaX-Men

Micromax had broken into the Mobile phone scene purely on the basis of providing more bang for your buck. After the very successful Micromax Bling (Yes, it was popular) and other music phone offerings, it carefully built its brand value and went after the big players when it stepped into the Android market. And now, it has established ground, courtesy the hugely popular ‘Canvas’ series. I have never heard of a gadget, other than the iPhone, going out of stock and being sold at a premium, before the Canvas 2 A110 came along.

Well, Micromax just climbed a few notches.

Micromax has Roped in Hugh Jackman, of ‘X-Men’ and ‘Wolverine’ fame, to promote their latest offering, the Micromax Canvas Turbo. Who would have thought the teaser trailers showing Jackman admiring a juggler, would be for a Micromax phone!!

Not much is known about the Canvas Turbo right now, except that it’s set to run on a quad-core 1.2GHz MT6589 processor, and may be the first Canvas handset with a 1080p display. It’ll likely feature many of the new Android software improvements introduced with the Canvas 4 – gsmarena.com
