MP Shatrughan Sinha felicitates CSE 2015 batch of Chanakya IAS Academy on UPSC selections

The Chanakya IAS Academy recently organized a felicitation ceremony to honour their students who successfully secured 361 seats out of the 1078 final selections done by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Shatrughan Sinha, actor and Member of Parliament who was the chief guest commended the students. He said, “India requires more of the young force to rise up and shine. I would wish these phenomenal students the very best in their career and also urge them to take up their position with honesty and integrity.”

Out of the 361 successful candidates, four students are listed in the top 10, six students in the top 20 and 31 students were placed in the top 100. The highest rank scorer, Athar Aamir was placed All India Rank (AIR) 2nd among all the students. Aamir, while sharing his experience, said, “The biggest mantra of success is passion, dedication, and hard work. My family’s support was one of the biggest motivations for me to achieve success. Chanakya IAS Academy also helped with the detailed study material and constant support to get through it successfully.”

Sarneet Kaur Broca (AIR 39, CSE 2015) said, “It is vital to stay focused while answering the prelims as every wrong answer has negative marking. The multiple-choice questions (MCQ) in the prelims require a different strategy than that of the Mains preparation.”

The IAS Academy also announced their scholarships programmes to meritorious students for pursuing classroom programmes through their various study centers spread throughout India (The academy has two centres in Delhi and one each at Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Pune, Chandigarh, Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Patna, Guwahati, Gurgaon and Kashmir). Hundred per cent scholarships will be awarded based on the eligibility & aptitude of the student, the details of which will be published on their website

The felicitation ceremony brought together eminent politicians, doctors, defence personnel and other veteran bureaucrats of India who in turn discussed burning issues, scientific developments and technological prowess of India as well as how civil servants can help create a better India.
