NEET 2016: Results of round 2 seat allotment process to be declared on September 12, 2016

The second round of choice filling and locking for admission under 15% AIQ (All India Quota) seats in government medical and dental colleges is closing today. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will declare the results of second round of MBBS and BDS seat allotments on September 12, 2016 on its official website.

After the round one of seat allotment in medical and dental colleges across India, there are 1886 seats that are still lying vacant due to non-joining and resignation from the aspirants. The medical aspirants applying for the vacant seats, need to report at the allotted colleges with all the relevant documents and certificates for admission. The allotment of seats to the candidates will be made based entirely on the basis on their All India Rank of NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) 2016.

The candidates need to report to the allotted colleges from September 13 to 20, 2016. After September 20, the vacant seats will be transferred to state quota. Admissions for the transferred seats will be conducted by the respective state medical admission authorities.
