NEET PG 2017: Online registration and exam scheduling to end today

Online registration of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) PG 2017, for admission in MD/MS/PG Diploma courses in colleges across the country, is coming to an end today. The admission of the candidates will be made based on their rank scored in the NEET PG examination. 

The NEET PG 2017 examination will take place from December 5 to 13 at test centres in 41 different cities across the country. Candidates who have started the application procedure but have not uploaded the necessary documents, must do the same before 23:59 Hrs. today. Along with filling details for registration, candidates will have to schedule their examination as well.

As per the Medical Council of India (MCI) website, there are almost 20,000 PG medical seats across the country. Based on the All India Rank (AIR) of the candidates, a common counselling for the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats will be made by NBE (National Board of Examination). Rest of the seats in the government medical colleges will be filled by the concerned state medical directorates. The private and deemed medical universities will fill their seats based on the NEET scores as well.

Candidates must visit the website of NBE and register themselves by submitting the necessary details. After completion of the application process, candidates must take a printout of the same for future references. 

Important Dates 

  • November 7: Last date of online registration and examination scheduling
  • December 5-13: Computer-based entrance examination test  
  • January 15: Declaration of results
