The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notification today, allowing NEET (UG) 2017 candidates to correct any mistakes in their application forms. The One Time Correction Facility starts today, March 7, 10am and will close on Sunday, March 12, 11:59pm. Candidates can make corrections only in the the following data sections:
- Identification
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- State Code of Eligibility
- Category
- Disability Status
- Medium
- Examination Centre
Details about which candidates can make changes in these data points is given in the notification signed by the Joint Secretary and OSD (NEET). Correction in any other data is not allowed, as it will not affect the candidature and merit for NEET (UG) 2017.
The purpose of this One Time Correction Opportunity by the CBSE is to ensure that the data in the application form of NEET candidates is 100% correct. Candidates have also been warned by CBSE to be very careful while making the corrections in the application form, as no second chance will be given.
For availing the correction facility, candidates must visit the http://www.cbseneet.nic.in/ and login with their registration number and password.
