New Entrepreneur in Town Does Not Intend to Change Anything

Tired of everyone trying to disrupt something, such as change the way people shop to change the way websites look to change the way we interact to change the way babies are born, Mr Banerjee, originally from Kolkata, has started a new venture which intends to change nothing. As Ronan Keating would have put it, “You change it best, when you change nothing at all.”

The company is appropriately named “Blame the Game” and is privately funded by Crazy Cola.

PaGaLGuY correspondent Mr Pareshan caught up with Mr Banerjee to know more about his ideology and future plans. We had to wait a little while he was changing but we decided to not delve deep into that ironic question. Here is the interview.

So, what are you trying to change. I mean, not change?

Everything. I detest change. Change does not lead to anything productive. I believe what we have today in our lives is perfectly fine, we should just focus to maintain.

How did this idea take birth?

One day my great grandfather was talking about his golden years and in the end, he said “Ab to sab badal gaya hai” (everything is different these days). I think that was my Mentos light-in-th- brain moment, albeit, I must admit that I do not consume Mentos regularly.

How are you planning to monetize this venture?

Well, I have few ideas but right now I am simply focused on building an audience and a community of people who desperately care about not-changing anything.

Moreover, I believe that it’s not about money when you love what you do not do.

(Reluctantly, our correspondent ventured into this last trick question.)

Sir, this drive to not do anything, not changing, is it somehow linked to your roots in east India, namely Kolkata?

“Bhaag DK Bose Bhaag” were the last few words we heard while as we fled from his house.
