If the ongoing court cases were not enough, now 126 CAT 2013 candidates have got together and filed a writ petition in the Indore High Court. The petition came up for hearing today and (like in the other cases), the court has directed that notices be sent to the IIMs and Prometric.
Speaking to PaGaLGuY.com, the advocate for the petitioners, M Sharma said that the notices are going to be sent not only all the IIMs, but also the CAT Convenor and Prometric. “We have petitioned that raw scores of the candidates be revealed as well as the process by which they were arrived at.”
It is important to note that 2 other cases with similar pleas have been filed at Indore High Court earlier.
The next date of hearing for this case is April 29, 2014.
The last week on April should be a decisive one as most courts (where the cases have been filed) are expected to hear the responses filed by the IIMs and Prometric.
