NPCIL is the abbreviated form of Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited. The NPCIL is an enterprise of the Indian government under the Department of Atomic Energy working on various aspects in the field of nuclear power and energy in our country. The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited has released an official notification on its official website inviting interested candidates to apply for various posts at their Rawatbhata Rajasthan Site unit.
The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited is recruiting candidates for the post of Steno Grade 1 and various other posts as mentioned in its official notification to ensure filling up of as many as 107 posts. The other posts include Nurse A (both male and female), Pharmacist/B, X-Ray technician/C, Operation Theatre Assistant (Technician/B), Assistant Grade -1 (HR), Assistant Grade- 1 (F&A), Assistant Grade-1 (C&MM), Driver-cum-Pump Operator-cum-Fireman/A and Pathology Lab Technician (SA/B).

The online application portal opens from the 17th of October 2019, 10.00 am onwards, and the final deadline for all applications is 6th of November 2019 by 11.59 pm latest. The official notification will be available on the website from the 17th of October itself.
The age limit for applying for the post of Steno Grade I is between 21 to 28 years. This remains the same for Assistant Grade 1 as well. For the post of Nurse and Pathology Lab Technician, the age limit is 18 to 30 years while for the post of Driver-cum-Pump Operator-cum-Fireman it is 18 to 25 years which is also the case for Pharmacist, X-ray Technician and Operation Theatre Assistant.
Of all the posts mentioned, a few including Steno Grade I and Assistant Grade 1 have been identified and made available for persons with benchmark disabilities. The disability should, however, be more than 40%. The official notification clearly mentions the disablement category suitable for appointment to every available post.
The pay scale is also very explicitly mentioned for every single post in the recruitment notification. The pay scales for different posts differ, ranging between matrix level 3 to matrix level 7. The minimum pay is Rs. 21,700 (for Operation Theatre Assistant and Driver-cum-Pump Operator-cum-Fireman) while the highest pay is Rs. 44,900 for the post of Nurse A.
