- The internship is spread over a span of 2 months, starting from May 6th and ending on July 13th.
- But then, we cannot go to these power management and energy exchange companies without due preparation. So what has NSB done in regards to this concern?
NSB Preparations
- We had topics covered by eminent personalities from the industry itself
- Starting with, Ashok Sethi, COO –Tata Power on Electricity Distribution Markets, to give an overall idea about the aspect of electricity distribution and transmission throughout India.
- We do know the operations that happen in energy exchange, thanks to Akhilesh Awasthy, Director-Marketing operations, Indian Energy Exchange. We were fortunate to understand about power bidding.
- Well, energy is not just related to electricity. So what are the other options left for us to explore?
- Oil and Gas, isn’t it? On the same, we had Sanjay Kumar Kar, Ph.D, Associate Professor (Marketing & Energy), Head, Department of Management Studies in Rajeev Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology giving us an in-depth knowledge about the various segments and career prospects in oil and gas industry
