RPSC Assistant Engineer Mains 2019

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), Ajmer will be holding the assistant engineer combined competitive exam (Main) from October 9 to 11, as per its latest notice. Those only students who clear the preliminary exam will be eligible for the main exam.

As per the RPSC Main examination pattern, candidates will have to appear for two compulsory exams i.e. Hindi and social aspects of engineering which shall be of 100 marks. And each of the optional subjects will have two papers. The period allowed for each paper shall be for three hours.

The candidates who achieve such minimum qualifying marks in the written test of the main examination will have to appear for the interview round. If any circumstances that no candidate who fails to obtain a minimum of 35 percent marks in each of the two compulsory papers and a minimum of 40 percent marks in the total shall be called by the commission for the interview which bears 72 marks.

Posts of Assistant Engineer include-

  • Civil Engineering,
  • Electrical Engineering,
  • Mechanical Engineering &
  • Agricultural Engineering

All the papers shall be of 200hours for 2 hours each.

Section A shall include the following subjects-

  • General Knowledge & General Science
  • Civil Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering

Section B shall include the following subjects-

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Agricultural Engineering

Test Pattern

  • Hindi
  • Social Aspects of Engineering
  • Anyone Optional Subject (Civil, Mech, Electrical, Agriculture Engineering)

which shall be of 100marks each for 3hours.

Also, the candidate who shall be giving them should carry any of the identity documents mentioned below. The Individual candidates while entering into the hall need to show their details to the invigilators for verification.

  • Aadhar Card.
  • College ID.
  • Voter ID.
  • PAN Card.
  • Driving License.
  • Any Authorized ID proof issued by Gazette Officer.
