RRB (Railway Recruitment Board) conducts examination every year giving the candidates a golden opportunity to carry out their dream of joining in the Government sector. RRB 2018 will be held to recruit the candidates for the post of ALPS (Assistant Loco Pilots & technicians).
The RRB ALP recruitment was released on February 03, 2018. As per the notification, a total of 26,502 vacancies were declared. The exam pattern for RRB ALP will constitute 2 stages. First will be CBT (Computer Based Test) which will be followed by Computer-based Aptitude Test (Relevant Trade and Document verification. The RRB ALP exam is held for 3 days with 3 shifts each day (Jan 21, 22, and 23).

There are 4 sections in stage 2 of RRB ALP exam. The total time duration will be 90 minutes i.e. 1.30 hours. Each question will carry 1 mark and a deduction of 1/3 marks as a negative mark for each wrong attempt comprising of a total of 100 marks. It will consist of multiple choice type questions and the questions will be available in bilingual (both in Hindi and English).

This part is of qualifying in nature and it will have questions from trade syllabus as prescribed by the Director General of Employment & Training (DGET). Each question carries one mark and there will be no negative mark for this section.
