RRB ALP Admit Card 2018 | Download Now

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB ALP Admit Card 2018 on the official regional websites. The admit card for the first stage CBT of RRB Recruitment 2018 was released on 5th August and can be downloaded by candidates.

Admit Card Download for 1st Stage CBT

The admit card for the candidates who are appearing in the First Stage CBT on August 9 and August 10 are now available on the official websites. For every exam date, the admit card will be released 4 days prior to the exam date. (eg: Admit Card for 13th August exam will be out on 9th August)

First Stage CBT Details

The score of first stage exam shall be used only for short listing of candidates for second stage exam as per their merit. The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices.

A] Exam Pattern for First Stage CBT – (Common for ALP/Technician)

Duration:
60 Min

No of Questions: 75 Minimum

Percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories :
i) UR -40%
ii) OBC-30%
iii) SC-30%, ST -25%.
(These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PWD candidates in case of shortage of PWD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.)

B] Syllabus for First Stage CBT – (Common for ALP/Technician)

The Questions will be of objective type with multiple choices and are likely to include questions pertaining to:

a. Mathematics
Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work; Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square Root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern etc.

b. General Intelligence and Reasoning
Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision Making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.

c. General Science
The syllabus under this shall cover Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences of 10th standard level.

d. General awareness on Current Affairs
Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics and other subjects of importance.
