The extraction of the SBI stretch out in the first decade of the 19 th century when the Bank of Calcutta was renamed as Bank of Bengal and it was established on June 02, 1806. It has its headquarters located in Nariman Point, Mumbai. During 2017, the bank was ranked 216 on the Fortune Global 500 list of the World’s biggest corporation. SBI is the largest bank in the country with 23% market share in assets, in addition to a share of one-fourth of the deposits market and total loan. As of now, the Government of India owns 59% of the bank’s share capital.

Essential Qualification
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any equivalent qualification.
- Candidates need to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.08.2019.
- Candidates possessing qualification of Chartered Accountant may also apply.
