Placements for the Batch 2012 are on the verge of ending and more than 560 students have been placed so far. The average package of the season is Rs. 3.3 Lakhs p.a. while the highest is Rs. 6 Lakhs p.a. The average of first 100 recruited students is Rs. 4 lakhs p.a.. About 370 companies have visited the campus, out of which a whopping 228 are first time recruiters at IILM.

Sector wise Distribution

Amongst placed students, 75 are placed in finance domain. Companies like Citi Bank, American Express, HDFC Bank, iventure Capital, Indiabulls, ICICI securities, Edelweiss Capitalare few companies which recruiter under this domain.

64 students are recruited in research. The top recruiters in this sector are Capital IQ & Grail Research, are Beroe Consulting, Smartcubes and WNS.

41 students are placed in Consultancy sector. Ernst and Young is the biggest recruiter in this sector offering final placements to 13 students. Other key recruiters in this sector are Heidricks & Struggles and Newton Consultancy

46 students are placed in Advertising and Media sector. Companies like Balaji Television, Times Television (Zoom TV), Dish TV, HT Media, Times Group, iads and events are few of our key recruiters in this sector.

Real estate companies like 99Acres.com have been a regular recruiter at IILM. This year too, it has recruited up around 7 students. Other key recruiters include Ascens Realty, ATN Infratech, BOP Group, Valion Realty Pvt. Ltd.

In IT & ITES sector Yebhi.com and Zomato.com are the first time recruiters of IILM, extending offers to 13 and one student respectively. Other recruiters in this sector include Co-cubes, Naukri.com, Trade India, HCL, Wish4tech etc.

In manufacturing sector, companies like Asian Paints, Bush India, Circuitonix, Gold plus, Havells are few of the key recruiters.

15 students have been placed in FMCG & Consumer Durables sector. Key recruiters in this category are Nestle and ITC Ltd.

In education sector, other than IILM companies like International Institutes Of Financial Markets Ltd(IIFM), Transweb Education have recruited around 6% of campus placed students.

10 students are placed in Logistic and Supply chain companies like Kuehne Nagel and Panalpina. Besides, Association of Unified Telecom Service Providers of India (AUSPI) andVideocon are the key recruiters in the telecom sector.

The retail sector was dominated by recruiters like Titan, ITC Wills Lifestyle, & Madura Fashion and lifestyle.

Placement training cell has played a major role in the success of IILM placements. The team has been preparing the students since their first year of the program. The institute provides the students with amply opportunities to do live projects to have a real time work experience in the corporate world.

Guest lecturers from the industry and regular Industry visits are also part of the ongoing Industry engagement activities. Students skills are honed with regular sessions on Aptitude test, Group Discussions and Interview skills. Along with these sessions, students are provided with company specific trainings and workshops.

Currently the placement cell has also started to place the first year students for Summer Internship in various companies.
