The Kandla Port Trust has invited applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Senior and Junior Stenographer. The details of the posts are as follows:
Post :
1. Senior Stenographer – 01 Post
2. Junior Stenographer – 01 Post (on contractual basis; duration of contract – 11 months)
Age limit :
For post no. 1, candidates must be between 18 – 25 years of age. For post no. 2, candidates must not be more than 62 years old.
Essential Qualifications
Senior Stenographer – Candidates must possess matriculation or an equivalent qualification with minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute in English typewriting and 120 words per minute in English shorthand or 30 words per minute in Hindi typewriting and 80 words per minute in Hindi shorthand.
Junior Stenographer – Candidates must possess a graduate degree with sufficient knowledge of Computer Application. In addition, candidates should have a minimum speed of 80 words per minute in English shorthand and 40 words per minute typing speed on computer in English. The proficiency of the candidate shall be tested through a shorthand test.
Remuneration
Sr Stenographer: Rs 21,000 – 53,500 per month.
Jr. Stenographer: Rs 21,275 per month
