THE INDIAN GF-BF

Being a serious writer of non serious issues, this has been playing in my mind since long.I find my fellow people fascinating when they ride high on a particular kind emotion on which an entire industry of our survives. This very emotion is LOVE and everyone(at least in India)knows how Bollywood has successfully transformed into a billion dollar industry by rehashing this age old formula.

So, everyone today is either in a relationship, has been in a relationship or planning(for sure) to engage in one. But, the following weird observations have actually made me curious over the years:

1.THE “I LOVE YOU”SYNDROME

Once upon a time after a second date I texted her “I LOVE YOU” instead of “I MISS YOU”.That was an honest mistake and I thought I messed up.I got a reply back quoting ” I LOVE YOU 2,3,5…….”.I just thought for once why she used all prime numbers but yes the shock of that particular reply has never vanished. They meet , they dine , they text and what next? They love each other !How on earth can this happen but my Indian counterparts continue to amuse me.

2. THE PDA PROFESSIONALS

Now, movies do affect us in a certain way which is evident from the fact that we still find couples displaying their AASHIQUI 1 or 2 or 3 at every nook and corner possible in the city. These guys show guts by sitting on an iron bench on a hot June afternoon and still concentrating on “LOVE”.I sometimes feel they are just competing with the couple on the next bench.

3.THE WARRIORS

Their actions can put Tipu Sultan and Hitler to shame .In the name of love they punch, kick, slap and basically qualify the criteria of being on a show as obnoxious as Bigg Boss. The issue can range from “WHY DID YOU LIKE HER PICTURE ” to “WHY IS YOUR INBOX EMPTY TODAY “.Although few, they can be found easily in buses, metros and malls , so beware !

Also, Shona, babu, jaan are some adjectives used frequently and that insane smile never leaves the “Bloated in Love”face.

I know your smile after reading my aberrance is as inevitable as the smirk on my face remembering all the love birds actually involved in my observations .No offence to them and seriously,Love is a pure emotion that needs time and perseverance to mature. Thus , I totally support the theory of dating people and knowing someone well enough to pop out the three magical words. In the bid of meeting “THE ONE” we do experience many bitter and sweet moments but it has to be done in the most amicable way possible. In the end its all about loving each other.

HAPPY READING PUYZ !!
