Tamil Nadu Public Services Commission (TNPSC) conducted the TNPSC Group 4 examination across multiple centres in the state on 1st September 2019. This examination was conducted for filling 6,491 vacancies across multiple departments and locations.
The notification for the TNPSC Group 4 examination was published in the month of June 2019 and candidates could register for the exam till 14th July 2019. Admit Cards were made available for download from 23rd August 2019 and could be downloaded till 1st September 2019.
Candidates who had downloaded their admit cards only were allowed to participate in the exam. Usually, Tamil Nadu Public Services Commission releases the official answer key within one week of the examination. This time also, the official answer key will be released on the website of the TNPSC in a few ways. Candidates must log-on to the official website of the Tamil Nadu Public Services Commission to download the answer key, i.e. www.tnpsc.gov.in.
The duration of the examination was three hours, with a total of 200 questions to be answered by the candidates. 100 questions were from General Tamil/General English section, 75 questions in General Studies and 25 questions were for aptitude and mental ability test. The maximum marks for every section were 300, making a total of 900 marks out of which candidates will be hoping to get the maximum marks. Candidates had been given a choice to opt for either General English or General Tamil to answer the second 100 items in addition to the first 100 items from General Studies and Mental Ability Test. Questions for General Tamil and General English were available in the respective languages only.

Candidates must follow the below-mentioned steps to download the answer key for TNPSC Group 4 Exam 2019 from the official website: –
- Log-on to the official website, i.e. tnpsc.gov.in.
- Now, locate the “download answer key” link on the page. You must click on this link to download the official answer key.
- After you click on the link, a new PDF file will open on your computer with the answer key.
- You must download the answer key and keep it handy for future reference.
A tentative list of selected candidates will be released by Tamil Nadu Public Services Commission which will be based on the final official answer key. The selected candidates will then need to upload all the required certificates for onscreen certificate verification in support of their claim. Candidates will be offered ample opportunity to raise any objections that they have with TNPSC Group 4 answer key.

On the basis of the Combined Civil Services Examination for Group 4 held on 1st September 2019, various vacancies for positions like Junior Assistant, Draftsman, Field Surveyor, Village Administrative Officer, Typist, and Steno Typist.
