The university grants commission has released the examination date for the National Eligibility Test and the Exam is scheduled to take place from December 2, 2019 to December 6, 2019. The second schedule of the exam will take place from June 15, 2020 to June 20, 2020. The admit card for the 2019 exam will be available online from November 9, 2019.
The results for the National Eligibility test will be declared on December 31, 2019. The Admit card and the results details for the June 2020 exam has also be released by the university grants commission. The admit card for the examination which is to be conducted on June 2020 will be available online from May 15, 2020. The results are stated to be declared on July 5, 2020.

To apply for the examination the candidates has to visit the officail website of the UGC and register. The candidate has to pay Rs.1000 to receive the admit card for the examination.
